A NEWSLETTER FOR HAMLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL COMMUNITY

Principal's Message

Last week, we finished most of our FAST Testing. Our students did an amazing job in all areas and we are proud of them! Their achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and parents.

Also, we had a great time honoring our Kindergarten students who shined all year during their ceremony on Friday.
This week, our third graders will be sharing their “wax museum” projects on Tuesday. This is such a fun project where history comes to life. Our students worked very hard on these presentations and we would love for you to join us!

Our fifth graders also get to celebrate the end of elementary school on Thursday with their awards ceremony and their party on Friday. Thank you for your support during the 5th grade store and Penny Wars so the 5th grade committee and teachers can make their event extra exciting!

In Media Center news, all books are due back to the Media Center. Please encourage your child to find any missing library books to make sure you avoid fines.

Please make sure you are reading the emails from your child(ren)’s teacher about all end-of-year events and procedures.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Best Regards,

Dr. Angela Murphy-Osborne

ADDitions

Hamlin Elementary is getting opportunities ready for volunteers to come in to help!  All volunteers will need an active ADDitions account and review all the Guidelines and Waivers provided by our OCPS district.

Being up to date in ADDitions helps the process of being a field trip chaperone, lunchroom helper, attending/participating in daytime events held at the school, PTO events, classroom volunteer, media center help and so much more!
